Chiggers Home Remedy

Chigger bites and over the counter treatments

Chiggers or berry bugs are known to bite their host during their larval stage. This causes the individual to develop a skin irritation that can be quite noisome. The worst thing about the chigger is its size, which makes it almost impossible to see, since it is only 0.4 mm (virtually microscopic) in size. They are bright red-orangish in color and reside in grassy fields, forests, and near vegetation gardens.
They do not burrow underneath the skin, but they can definitely can cause a lot of problematic symptoms including rash, painful blisters, and itchy skin irritation. There are innumerable home remedies and over the counter medications that are very effective in relieving the symptoms.
